Why Independence Day is Great and Those Who Make it So

As we embark on a classic holiday weekend filled with parties, good food, (safe) fireworks displays and an all around upbeat time, let's make sure we remember why we are free to roam these backyards and indulge in these tables of summer barbecue treats.

We can't forget that it is because of the sacrifice of brave individuals that we live with the freedom and comfort we are so accustomed to.  Both at home and overseas, we are honored to be looked after and protected by women and men who give up their holiday weekends to ensure our American dream remains free and safe.

Thank you to all who serve and protect us and please know that we are celebrating you this 4th of July. Happy Birthday to our great country and let's never take our freedom for granted.
